SenateSHJ's Chief Executive and Chairman, Neil specialises in reputation management, corporate communications, and crisis and issues management. He has deep experience in issues relating to the energy, transport, finance and government sectors.
Neil is a well-known and respected figure in New Zealand business, with a 27-year career that has seen him operate in New Zealand, Australia and New York. He started his career at Logos Public Relations, which then became Porter Novelli New Zealand. He was managing director and in 2001 became Chief Executive of Porter Novelli Australia, and New Zealand. He is Vice-Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Crisis Group for PROI Worldwide, the world's largest global international partnership of independent public relations firms.
Within SenateSHJ, Neil heads the reputation management and corporate relations team, providing strategic counselling, corporate communications, and issues management advice to clients. He headed the team on the successful $1.7B Mighty River Power share market listing in 2013.

Outside of work, Neil is trying to justify owning golf clubs and has visions of doing the Coast-to-Coast again. Of the two, he is more hopeful about his golfing!
